Metal scaffold plank is a type of metal sheet used for scaffolding construction in fields such as building construction. It is usually made of Q235 low carbon steel and other materials, and is produced through processes such as stamping, stretching, and welding.
Dimensions of scaffold plank
Scaffolding Steel Plank Thickness: Generally available in 40mm, 45mm, 50mm, 63mm, etc.
Scaffolding Boards Length: Generally available in 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.4m, 3m, etc
Scaffolding Steel Boards Width: Generally available in 210mm, 240mm, 250mm, 420mm, 450mm, 500mm, etc.
The use of metal scaffold boards
Construction: As a stepping plank in scaffolding, it provides a safe and stable working platform for construction personnel to carry out wall building, painting, installation and other operations at different heights.
Industrial field: it is used in some factories, workshops, and other places to build maintenance platforms, operation platforms, etc., to facilitate workers' maintenance, repair, and other work on equipment.
Other fields: It can also be used for temporary stages, stands, etc., providing a flat surface for personnel to stand and move.
The normal service life of hot-dip galvanized steel scaffolding plank is 5-8 years. If maintenance is emphasized during use and the environment is free from corrosive media such as strong acids and alkalis, its service life may be extended to 8-10 years.

There are 2 Types of Galvanized Steel Scaffold Planks in Youfa: pre-galvanized steel planks and hot dip galvanized scaffold planks.
Upgrading method of metal scaffold plank
Repair and refurbishment: For metal scaffold boards with slight deformation and wear, they can be repaired and refurbished by correcting the deformation, welding the damaged parts, and re treating the surface (such as galvanizing, painting, etc.) to restore their performance and put back into use.
Functional upgrade and renovation: Metal scaffold boards can be upgraded and renovated according to new construction requirements or scenarios. Adding anti slip coating to the scaffold board and installing new components that are easy to connect can improve its safety, applicability, and other aspects.
