Some tips for storing galvanized steel products during the rainy season:
In the summer, there is a lot of rain, and after the rain, the weather is hot and humid. In this state, the surface of galvanized steel products is easy to be alkalization (commonly known as white rust), and the interior (especially 1/2inch to 1-1/4inch galvanized pipes) is prone to produce black spots due to covering the packaging and lack of ventilation.
To avoid this situation, please store according to the following suggestions for both new and old users:
1. In rainy summer, please store indoors as much as possible;
2. For users who do not have an indoor warehouse, use a waterproof cloth to cover them before rain, and immediately remove the waterproof cloth to maintain ventilation and dryness after the rain stops;
3. When stacking, avoid direct contact with damp soil and lay sleepers or stones underneath;
4. If the galvanized product is exposed to rain, water or moisture, it is recommended to immediately dismantle package and place it in a ventilated place to dry.
