Ringlock scaffolding, also known as rosette scaffolding, is a modular support system renowned for its bolt-free connection (via "rosette + wedge pin"), high load-bearing capacity, and rapid assembly.
The Core Structural Components
These form the basic skeleton of the scaffolding, responsible for load-bearing and overall stability.
1.Ringlock standard/ vertical with spigot
- Definition:Vertical load-bearing members that serve as the backbone of the scaffolding system.
- Standard pipe diameter: Ø48.3mm × 3.2mm (lightweight Type B) / Ø60.3mm × 3.2mm (heavy-duty Type Z)
- Length range: 0.5m, 1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m, 2.5m, 3.0m, 4.0m
- Rosette spacing: 500mm (standard) or 600mm
- Structural Features: Welded with 8-hole rosettes (diameter 120 - 160mm, thickness 8 - 10mm) at 500mm intervals. A spigot is welded at the top for vertical extension, and a socket is processed at the bottom for base connection.


2.Ringlock ledger / horizontal
- Definition:Horizontal connecting members that link adjacent standards to form a stable frame grid.
- Specifications: Ø48.3mm × 2.5mm, length designed in 0.3m modulus increments.
- Standard Lengths: 0.6m, 0.9m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.0m.
- Connection Method: Both ends are welded with ledger heads equipped with wedge pins, which can be inserted into the small holes (diameter ~28mm) of the rosettes.
3.Diagonal Braces
- Definition: Inclined support members that enhance the scaffolding's lateral and torsional stability by forming triangular structures.
- Specifications: Ø48.3mm × 2.5mm (standard) / Ø33.7mm × 2.3mm
- Classification:
- Vertical Diagonal Braces: Connect ledgers of upper and lower layers to improve vertical stability.
- Horizontal Diagonal Braces: Link standards on the same layer to enhance wind resistance.
- Flexible Diagonal Braces: Steel wire ropes replace steel pipes in some light-duty systems to reduce weight.
- Connection Method: Both ends are welded with diagonal heads with wedge pins, inserted into the large holes (diameter ~38mm) of the rosettes.


4.Ringlock Rosette
- Definition: Circular connecting plates welded to standards, acting as the core nodes of the entire system.
- Material: Q235B steel plate (thickness 8 - 10mm) or cast steel (ZG230 - 450).
- Structure: 8 evenly distributed holes (4 large holes + 4 small holes); large holes for diagonal braces, small holes for ledgers.
- Strength: Bilateral shear strength ≥ 100kN (heavy-duty) or 75kN (lightweight)
Base & Adjustment Components
These components are used for leveling, height adjustment, and bottom stability.

- Definition: Installed at the bottom of standards to adjust height and adapt to uneven ground.
- Composition: Base plate (Q235 steel plate), screw rod (45# steel, diameter ≥ 38mm), and adjusting nut (cast steel).
- Adjustment Range: 0 - 500mm, suitable for various terrain conditions.

Adjustable U-head Jack
- Definition: Mounted on the top of standards to support formwork or load-bearing beams.
- Structure: Similar to adjustable base jacks, but with a U-shaped bearing plate at the top.
- Application: Formwork support systems, enabling precise height adjustment

Base Collar
- Definition: Fixed at the bottom of standards for quick positioning and enhanced stability.
- Specifications: Height 240 - 410mm, outer diameter slightly larger than that of standards.
- Function: Ensures verticality of standards and prevents bottom slippage.
Auxiliary & Safety Components

- Definition: Laid on ledgers to form a safe working surface for workers, tools, and materials.
- Material: Q235 steel plate with anti-slip surface treatment.
- Specifications: Common sizes: 1.5m × 0.25m and 2.0m × 0.25m, with hooks on both sides.
- Installation: Directly hooked onto ledgers without additional fasteners, featuring an anti-fall design.

Guardrail & Toe Board
- Guardrail: 1.2m high, installed around the working layer to prevent workers from falling.
- Toe Board: 180mm high, mounted at the edge of steel planks to prevent tools and debris from dropping.
- Connection: Directly fixed to rosettes without extra fasteners.

Staircase
- Definition: Vertical access component for workers to move between different layers of the scaffolding.
- Material: Q235B steel with anti-slip steps.
- Specifications: Standard lengths 1.5m and 2.0m, connectable to any layer of the scaffolding.
