Scaffolding jacks (also called "scaffold base jacks" or "screw jacks") are critical components in scaffolding systems, used to adjust height, level the structure, and distribute loads to the ground.
Scaffolding jacks are sized based on three core metrics:
- Adjustable Height Range: The vertical distance they can extend (from fully retracted to fully extended) to level the scaffold or compensate for uneven ground.
- Load Capacity: The maximum weight they can safely support (critical for scaffold stability; measured in tons, kN, or pounds).
- Tube Diameter: The outer diameter of the steel tube (determines strength and compatibility with scaffold standards/poles).
