Recently, a delegation of Tianjin enterprises visited Uzbekistan to further deepen cooperation with Uzbekistan in the fields of economy, trade and investment,education, science and technology, culture and tourism, strengthen exchanges between sister cities,and serve the development of bilateral relations with local exchanges.The 500MW photovoltaic power plant in Popsky District, Namangan Oblast, Uzbekistan is an important cooperation project between China and Uzbekistan in the field of clean energy.
It is reported that the project will be connected to the grid and put into operation this year. After completion, it will provide Uzbekistan with 1 billion kilowatt hours of stable green electricity annually, reduce 830000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, and promote the low-carbon transformation of local energy and economic and social development.
The project practices the concept of ecological development and promote high-quality technology of Chinese craftsmen.Rows of neat and recyclable piles and support systems are implemented using world-leading ecosystem technology.At the same time, the structural system design is continuously strengthened, and through multi node reinforcement, the power station will be able to withstand extreme weather conditions with gusts of up to 15 levels. The planning and construction of the project always adheres to the priority of ecological and environmental protection, protects the existing ecosystem as much as possible, and also improves the ecological environment of the project site while cooperating with Tsinghua University and the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences.

EDRI Tianjin Branch is responsible for project design and construction, Tianjin TCL Zhonghuan Co., Ltd is responsible for the production of photovoltaic modules, Tianjin 11th Zhongji is responsible for material trade, Tianjin Youfa Group is responsible for the production of support piles, Huasong Ele Ctric Power Tianjin Branch is responsible for transmission lines, and Tianjin Kean is responsible for mechanical equipment, etc.
